Recognising and celebrating
professional excellence
This is not an awards process. Our tier system recognises celebrants who prove — through documented evidence — that they have reached a level of professionalism and industry support that goes beyond expectations. When you reach a new tier, we celebrate that achievement with you.

How It Works
Join the directory
All Commonwealth authorised marriage celebrants can join our directory at the Registered tier. Complete your profile with a professional photo, description, website, and contact details.
Prove you're Endorsed
When you've reached the Endorsed level of professionalism, submit your documentation and we'll verify it. This includes proof of registration length, qualifications, insurance, professional development records, and verified reviews. Once confirmed, we celebrate your achievement and update your listing.
Reach Luminary
Luminary is the highest recognition we offer. It's not an award — it's an acknowledgment that you've made a measurable impact on the profession through years of experience, industry recognition, and community contribution. When you reach this level, we're honoured to celebrate it.
This isn't a competition or an awards program. It's a recognition of the professionalism and industry support you've already built. Submit your documentation and let us celebrate what you've achieved.
Submit Your DocumentationCommon Questions
Is this an awards program?
No. This is not an awards process, a competition, or a ranking against other celebrants. Our tiers recognise individual professional achievement. When you prove — through documented evidence — that you've reached a level of professionalism and industry support that exceeds expectations, we award that tier to you and celebrate the accomplishment. There are no judges, no nominees, and no losers. If you meet the criteria, you earn the recognition.
Does it cost anything to move up a tier?
No. Tiers are based entirely on verified professional credentials and experience. There is no fee to apply for or hold any tier status.
What documentation do I need to submit?
This varies by tier but may include: proof of AG registration date, Certificate IV, current insurance certificate of currency, OPD records, links to reviews, statutory declaration of ceremonies performed, and evidence of industry recognition such as awards or media features.
How are reviews verified?
Reviews must be from identifiable couples or wedding vendors and can be submitted as links to Google Reviews, Easy Weddings, ABIA, or similar platforms. We verify that the reviews are genuine and relate to your celebrancy services.
Can I lose my tier status?
Tier status is reviewed periodically. If a celebrant's registration lapses, insurance expires, or professional standards are not maintained, their tier may be adjusted. We'll always communicate with you before any changes.
What counts as professional development beyond OPD?
Any training, courses, workshops, conferences, or certifications you've undertaken beyond the minimum 5 hours of OPD required by the Attorney-General's Department. This could include public speaking courses, writing workshops, ceremony design training, cultural competency programs, or industry conference attendance.
